Carrot-Apple-Ginger Smoothies

Learn how to make a refreshing carrot smoothie with apple and orange juice. This healthy smoothie is a splendid manner to start the day!


Ingredients

2 medium carrots scrubbed and peeled if desired, cut into chunks
1 large apple cored and sliced into quarters
1 tbsp fresh ginger A chunk about the size of your thumb
1/2 - 1 lemon juiced
2 Tbsp hemp seeds
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup of ice cubes
1 - 1 1/2 cups cold water

Instructions


  1. Place all ingredients into the jar of a blender with one cup of water.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Add more water to the thin smoothie if desired.
  4. Serve immediately.
