Chicken Vino Bianco is a classic dish from Olive Garden, an American chain of Italian-themed restaurants. It typically consists of chicken sautéed with garlic and wine, in a white wine sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and capers. To make this dish at home, you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Flour for dusting
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions:

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and dust with flour.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Pour in the chicken broth, white wine, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and capers. Stir to combine.
Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced and thickened slightly.
Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the chicken.
Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh basil.
