Beef and Chinese Broccoli


Cooking process 

Heat a wok or large pan over high heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
Add 1 pound of sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned.
When the meat comes out of the pan, set it aside.
Add 1 more tablespoon of oil to the pan and add 1 pound of Chinese broccoli (gai lan). Stir-fry the mixture for 2-3 minutes, or until the broccoli is slightly wilted.
Add the beef back to the pan along with 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, and any desired seasonings (such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, or hoisin sauce). Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of beef (sirloin, flank, or tenderloin)
  • 1 pound of Chinese broccoli (gai lan)
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, or other desired seasonings


Instructions:

Cut the beef into thin slices and season with a swab and pepper.
Trim the ends of the Chinese broccoli and separate the leaves from the stems. Cut the stems into 2-inch pieces and the leaves into 2-inch strips.
Heat a wok or large pan over high heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
Add the beef to the visage and stir- shindig for 2- 3 twinkles, or until browned. Remove the beef from the visage and set it away. Add the remaining oil to the pan and add the Chinese broccoli. Stir- shindig for 2- 3 twinkles, or until the broccoli is slightly wilted.
Add the beef back to the pan along with the garlic, ginger, and any desired seasonings. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
Serve hot over rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Note: You can also add some sliced onion, bell pepper, or any other vegetables of your choice.
