Ingredients
1/2 tsp - garlic powder
1/2 tsp - basil leaves
1/2 parsley flakes
1 tsp - paprika or cayenne pepper
salt to taste
3 - Chicken breast
1 tbsp - butter
3-4 cloves of garlic - chopped
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup of cream or half and a half or coconut cream
1-2 cup of cheese(of your choice)
1/2 cup sundried tomatoes
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, add garlic powder, basil leaves, parsley flakes, paprika or cayenne pepper and salt
Step 2
Season chicken breast with the spice mixture on both sides
Step 3
1. In a heated skillet, add butter
2. Once the butter is melted, at the seasoned chicken breast and reduce heat to medium-low
3. flip the chicken breast, cover and cook till chicken is done - (15-20 minutes and flip occasionally)
4. Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove the chicken breast from the skillet
5. In the same skillet, on medium heat - add 3-4 freshly chopped garlic cloves
6. Add more butter if needed
7. Once the garlic is lightly golden brown, add 1 cup of chicken broth
8. Add 1 cup of heavy cream (or half and a half or coconut cream)
9. Add 1 tsp of cayenne pepper or paprika
10. Add 1 -2 cups of cheese of choice (freshly grated parmesan, Havarti, cheddar, etc)
11. Add 1/2 cup of sundried tomatoes
12. Simmer the sauce till it thickens
13. Add cooked chicken into the sauce
14. Pour the sauce on the chicken and simmer for 5 minutes
