INGREDIENTS
4 salmon fillets
4 tablespoons flour
5 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lime
6 tablespoons butter
2 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high heat, add your butter.
Cook, stirring constantly until the butter begins to turn a golden brown color.
Add the garlic, one tablespoon of honey, lime juice, salt, and pepper; set aside.
Season the salmon with plenty of salt and pepper.
Dredge each fillet into the flour, and drizzle with the remaining honey.
Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add the salmon to the hot oil, skin side down to start, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes.
Flip and cook the remaining side for 1-2 minutes.
Place in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
Serve with the honey glaze.
