Really Easy Apple-Caramel Cake


Ingredients

2 cans of apple pie filling

1 can of yellow cake mix

2 sticks of butter, melted

1/2 cup (125 mL) caramel sauce

1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) cinnamon (optional)

1/2 cup (125 mL) optional chopped pecans

Whipped cream for garnish (optional)

Preparation

In a greased dish, combine apple pie filling and caramel sauce. Add cinnamon, if desired.

Distribute evenly in the pan.

Pour dry cake mix directly on top and distribute evenly.

Top with melted butter and pecans (optional).

Bake at 350 ° F (180 ° C) for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and apple filling is bubbling around the edges.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
