INGREDIENTS
For 6 persons :
- 1 kilo of peeled shrimp with their tails
- 1.5 tablespoon of cornstarch
- A teaspoon of powdered sugar
- 1 small box of bamboo shoots
- 2 onions
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- A small box of tomato coulis
- 6 sprigs of fresh coriander
- A pinch of chili powder
- Salt and pepper
PREPARATIONS
- Clean and rinse the peeled shrimp with clean water and dry them with absorbent paper
- Place the cleaned shrimp in a freezer bag with the cornstarch
- Shake the bag well to coat all the shrimp and set aside
- Peel and finely chop the onions
- Pour the olive oil into a hot pan
- Put the chopped onions and let them melt
- Add the peeled shrimp to sauté on both sides
- Sprinkle with sugar, mix, and let everything caramelize over medium heat
- Deglaze the preparation with the soy sauce
- Pour the tomato coulis
- Drain the bamboo shoots and add them to the pan
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Add the pinch of chili
- Wash and finely chop the fresh cilantro
- Sprinkle over the dish
- Mix everything well and cook for 3 minutes on low heat
- Serve immediately and very hot
