Paleo Pecan-Maple Salmon


Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup pecans

3 tbsp. maple syrup

1 C. cider vinegar

1 C. smoked paprika

1/2 tsp. chipotle pepper powder

1/2 tsp. onion powder

Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.

In the bowl of a food processor, combine the pecans, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, paprika, chipotle powder and onion powder; grind until lumpy. Spread everything on top of the salmon fillets. Let stand, in the refrigerator, for 2-3 hours.

Preheat the oven to 425 ° F (220 ° C).

Bake the salmon in the oven, until the flesh flakes easily with a fork, about 12-14 minutes.
