When it comes to food, there are some things that everyone can get behind. There are also certain dishes that people will always argue about — for example, who makes the tastiest lasagna? To settle this argument, you could turn to a recipe or ask someone who claims to be a 'seasoned lasagna expert'. But what if you want something different? A much healthier option? You'll find out all of the answers inside these pages!
Ingredients
1/4 pound bacon, chopped fine
6 cups broccoli florets, chopped into bite-sized pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced and then crushed through a press
Parmesan cheese
1 pound of lasagna noodles(8-12 oz. dry)
8 cups tomato sauce (17.6 oz. jar)
1 pound lasagna noodles, cooked al dente and then drained (8-12 oz. dry)
1/4 cup pine nuts, unsalted
Preparations
First make your tomato sauce by combining the following ingredients in a large saucepan: tomato sauce, bacon, garlic, and broccoli florets. Simmer the mixture for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Now add the pasta (drained and uncooked),
Parmesan cheese, and pine nuts to the saucepan. Mix well before transferring everything into a baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
Remove the foil and continue to cook for 5 more minutes. If you can, allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
