The Best Applebee’s Honey Grilled Salmon

Ingredients
3/4 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 Tbs lemon juice
2 Tbs white distilled vinegar
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
4 6-8oz skinless salmon fillets
Cooked rice optional

Instructions
In a medium-sized saucepan add your honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, pepper, cayenne, paprika, and garlic powder and whisk together until combined.
Heat over medium-high heat until boiling then reduce heat to medium-low to simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened.
To grill your salmon heat your grill to medium, you can also use a grill pan on the stove.
Rub both sides of your fillets with olive oil and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Grill the salmon about 5-6 minutes per side or until done.
Remove to plate and brush salmon with sauce.
Serve over cooked rice and a side of the sauce for dipping.
