Bacon rolls are a classic breakfast food, but each bacon roll recipe is different. In this post, we will show you the rich history of bacon rolls as well as how to make your own from scratch or from a package of dough.
Ingredients
400 g bacon rashers
5 slices wholemeal bread crusts removed
250 g spreadable cream cheese
1 pinch ground black pepper *to taste
Instructions
1. Mix together 1 tablespoon each of baking powder, salt, sugar, flax meal, and sesame seeds in a medium bowl.
2. Heat the water until boiling - be careful not to let it reach a hard boil - then take it off the heat and stir in the chocolate to melt. Then stir in the oil followed by the egg yolk; keep stirring until well mixed.
3 Form the mixture into 15-inch rolls.
