The cheesy chicken alfredo roll-ups recipe is one of my all-time favorites. It is a simple, yet incredibly delicious dinner of tender chicken rolled in a layer of alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese and baked until warm and melted.
Ingredients
1 package of whole wheat tortillas
1 jar of alfredo sauce
1 package shredded cheese (we used cheddar)
Preparations
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, slice your tortilla in half and place both halves on a baking sheet. Place about 1/4 cup of alfredo sauce on one half and break up the shredded cheese so it covers the other side. Stir it together so that all the cheese melts evenly.
Bake until the cheese is melted and the roll-ups are brown all around. I like to spray them with cooking spray so that they don't stick together too much and you can get enough cheese on each piece, but it's not needed. If you want to eat them warm, put them on a plate and bake for about 10 minutes or so at 200 degrees Fahrenheit until heated through. Or, you can put them in a 350-degree oven for about 20 minutes (watch them closely though because they tend to burn easily).
