Everybody loves orange chicken. It's sweet and tangy, but it also has an irresistible savory tinge. It's the perfect combination of flavors. But, if you're making orange chicken at home for the first time, you might be wondering how to make the sauce just right.

Ingredients

1/2 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon chili sauce

3 tablespoons water

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate

1 tablespoon soy sauce Serve with cooked rice or noodles

Directions

For a light frying pan or wok heat up the oil over low heat. Add the garlic, cook until golden. Add chicken and the chili sauce to the pan and stir around for 2-3 minutes, or until sauce is absorbed. Make a slurry mixture of water and cornstarch by dissolving it in the water. Add to chicken along with orange juice concentrate and soy sauce. Stir fry for about 3-4 minutes to thicken the sauce, or just until chicken is done through. Serve over hot rice or noodles for a flavorful meal that's ready in about 10 minutes.
