Honey Butter Fried Chicken Recipe!

Ingredients:

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup buttermilk

Vegetable oil, for frying

For the honey butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Beat the eggs in another bowl before adding the buttermilk.

Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and then back into the flour mixture, making sure each piece is well coated.

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. The oil should reach a temperature of 350 degrees F.

Gently place the chicken into the hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a wire rack to drain any excess oil.

Dissolve the spread in a different container over medium intensity. Add the honey, salt, and pepper whenever it has liquefied. Stir until well combined.

Brush the honey butter mixture over the fried chicken and serve immediately.
