Impress and delight your tribe, your guests, or your darling by making your own sushi yourself! With this accessible recipe for salmon sushi, success is guaranteed. Accompany them with other bites of raw fish such as sashimi and maki (also homemade, of course!) And a Japanese broth, and your Asian meal will be at the top!
INGREDIENTS
600 g very fresh salmon fillet
350 ground rice
35 cl of water
4 c. rice vinegar
2 c. sugar
2 c. sherry vinegar
2 c. salt
PREPARATION
STEP 1
Wash the rice several times, until the dripping is very clear (in order to remove the maximum of starch).
2ND STEP
Put it in a saucepan, add the water, cover and bring to a boil.
STEP 3
Cook covered for 15 minutes then remove from heat and leave covered for 10 minutes.
STEP 4
In a bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, salt and sherry vinegar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
STEP 5
Pour this preparation over the rice and mix.
STEP 6
Let cool to room temperature.
STEP 7
Meanwhile, cut the salmon fillet into thin strips.
STEP 8
Moisten your hands and form small oval rice pies the length of the fish strips.
STEP 9
Place a slice of salmon on each rice ball.
STEP 10
Place the sushi in a dish, cover with cling film and keep cool until ready to serve.
