I propose you this delicious recipe of creamy shrimps with Tuscany style, with garlic butter. A beautiful and tasty recipe of Cafedelites that I love to accompany my pasta.



Creamy Tuscan Shrimp in Butter and Garlic Sauce


Ingredients

For 4/6 people:

1 kilo of fresh shrimp

3 tablespoons of salted butter

6 garlic cloves, grated

1 small onion, diced

350 ml of whole liquid cream

150 ml of milk

150 gr of sundried tomatoes, cut into strips

150 gr of baby spinach leaves

100 gr of fresh grated Parmesan

1 teaspoon of cornstarch + 1 tbsp of water

2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 pinch of dried basil, oregano, sage, thyme, rosemary, cayenne pepper flakes

Salt pepper

300 gr of pasta

Preparation:

Shell the shrimp, keeping the tail (more aesthetic).

Heat a high-sided pan over medium/high heat, then add 2 tablespoons of salted butter. Add the garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute.

Add the shrimp then fry for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the heat then transfer to a large bowl.

Add the last tablespoon of salted butter, then sauté the onion until it becomes translucent, stirring occasionally.

Add the sundried tomato slices, then cook for 2 minutes to release their flavors.

Lower the heat to low / medium, then add the milk and cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a slow boil for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the spinach leaves and let them wilt in the sauce. Add the Parmesan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes while it melts.

At this point, if the sauce is not smooth enough, add the cornstarch previously diluted in water. Stir until the sauce thickens.

Add the shrimp to the sauce and the spices. Stir then sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Mix.

Cook your pasta as usual, then mix it with the sauce.
